Beth
Beth joined Johnny the Sweep in 2023, bringing with her a varied background in customer service, education and practical problem-solving. Before becoming a chimney sweep, she worked as a Design Technology teacher and also managed the Timpson branch in Monmouth. Outside of work, Beth is an avid whitewater kayaker and country music enthusiast. She enjoys the variety that every day brings, whether she's tackling soot, bird nests or stubborn tar deposits, and takes real pride in helping keep chimneys clean, appliances working safely and customers' homes protected. A good coffee along the way is always a bonus!
John
John founded Johnny the Sweep in 2019 after a varied career that included serving as an RAF pilot and working in senior supply chain management roles within large manufacturing organisations. Today, he combines that experience with a genuine passion for customer service, taking great pride in helping people keep their homes safe and their appliances working efficiently. Outside of work, John enjoys walking, playing the guitar, listening to rock and indie music, and heading to the occasional live concert. He believes every customer deserves honest advice, a professional service and a job done properly—principles that have shaped Johnny the Sweep from day one and remain at the heart of everything the company does.
